Portfolio Manager: Bud Leedom

Bud Leedom has more than 15 years experience in the financial industry. He is the publisher and chief investment analyst of California Stock Report, a monthly publication devoted to investment research of California-based companies.

His career in the securities industry began in 1992 after creating the Leedom Strength Indicator (LSI), a proprietary algorithm that deciphers the secretive buying and selling activity of institutional investors.

In 1993, Mr. Leedom began publishing two acclaimed financial advisories including The LSI Report.

In April 2000, Mr. Leedom joined Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, an investment bank based in San Francisco, CA, as Senior Equity Analyst where he was recognized the following year as one of firm’s top stock picking analysts.

In July of 2005, Mr. Leedom began publishing the California Stock Report and launched CaliforniaStocks.com, a website devoted to California-based companies.

In 2006, Leedom Asset Management, Inc. was formed to provide professional money management services with special emphasis on California-based stocks.

Bud Leedom has been widely publicized. In addition to appearances on CNBC and CBS, Mr. Leedom’s commentary has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Barron's, Investor's Business Daily and BusinessWeek. Mr. Leedom is regular guest on the 'KNX Business Hour' with Frank Mottek heard on KNX AM-1070 radio in Southern California as well as 'Money & Politics' KCEO 1000 with Mike Green and Jim Benham and 'Money in the Morning' KOGO 600 with George Chamberlin.
